Nature Photo Galleries

The natural beauty that surrounds us amazes me every day. The different colors of the seasons and the creatures that come out in the spring, summer, and fall can sooth the soul of even the hardest person if one simply takes the time to appreciate them.  This section of the site is dedicated these simple pleasures of life.  Take a look at the photographs in this gallery and then look for similar beauty in your area. You will not regret it.

This crawdad tried to hide inside an old snail shell.

This bullfrog was in the wrong place at the wrong time and was stealthly caught by my daughter.

A mother and father goose with their seven new goslings.

This cutworm was caught a little too late to save our tomatoes. We decided not to squish him since he'd already done his damage.

This killdeer nest got very lucky. They came very close to being squished by our golf cart.

I feel very lucky to have seen this and I would not have believed it if I'd not seen it with my own eyes. This image does not do the entire scene justice. One of our Corkscrew Willow trees was covered... COVERED with Monarch Butterflies!

This moth was spotted lurking on a corn stalk in our field.

This mantis is not happy with us disturbing his slumber. Oh well, it made for a great picture anyway.

This photograph was taken in the woods that are part of the park close to our home.
